Description
This refined pair of Murano glass table lamps showcases the minimalist elegance of modernist Italian design from the 1970s. Each lamp features an urn-shaped body, expertly hand-blown in translucent glass with a soft vellum hue. The smooth contours and subtle finish emphasize the masterful craftsmanship for which Murano is celebrated, while the understated color imbues the lamps with warmth and sophistication.
When illuminated, the vellum-toned glass provides a gentle diffusion of light, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. Both functional and decorative, the lamps serve equally as sculptural objects and practical lighting pieces, making them versatile additions to interiors ranging from mid-century to contemporary. Their origin in Murano underscores their quality and connection to Italy's revered glassmaking tradition, ensuring they remain timeless pieces of design. Fitted with custom gallery shades and newly rewired to American Standards, these table lamps accommodate one edison base bulb each achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
