Description
Designed by renowned architect and designer Alan Wanzenberg for Remains Lighting, the Judson wall sconce is a masterclass in understated luxury and timeless modernism. Defined by its clean geometry and exceptional proportions, the fixture features a single cylindrical milk glass diffuser seamlessly intersected by a warm patinated brass sleeve, creating a refined sculptural form that appears to float effortlessly from the wall.
The Judson's minimalist design is elevated through meticulous detailing. The cylindrical glass bar is mounted to a discreet, recessed support that projects from a simple round backplate, creating a subtle shadow line that emphasizes the fixture's elegant profile. Whether installed vertically or horizontally, the sconce provides beautifully diffused illumination while serving as a sophisticated architectural accent.
This example was acquired as a floor sample from the Remains Lighting showroom and retains a partial original Remains label on the reverse. It remains in used condition, exhibiting light nicks, scratches, and surface wear consistent with showroom display and handling, adding to its authentic character.
Perfect for luxury residential or hospitality interiors, the Judson is ideal for bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms, powder rooms, dressing areas, libraries, and flanking mirrors or artwork. Its restrained aesthetic complements Modern, Contemporary, Minimalist, Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, and Transitional interiors alike.
