Description
A striking “Philip” hexagonal lantern pendant designed and manufactured by Remains Lighting, originally created as a showroom display piece and dated July 15, 2013. Crafted from solid cast bronze with a hand-polished nickel finish and fitted with beveled glass panels, this architectural lantern embodies the refined transitional aesthetic favored by today’s top interior designers, architects, and collectors of bespoke American lighting.
Originally used in the Remains showroom, this piece retains its original manufacturer labeling and date markings, adding desirable provenance for collectors and design professionals sourcing authentic showroom examples.
The lantern is currently configured with a plug-in showroom cord, allowing immediate installation for display, staging, or decorative use. It can also be professionally converted back to hardwire installation, making it equally suitable for permanent residential or commercial applications including entry foyers, stair halls, covered loggias, dressing rooms, boutique hospitality environments, and luxury coastal residences.
Constructed in solid bronze with polished nickel plating—a hallmark of Remains’ uncompromising craftsmanship—the lantern presents beautifully with only mild vintage wear, light nicks, and surface scratches consistent with showroom use.
A highly sought-after statement piece that blends seamlessly with traditional, transitional, modern classic, Georgian, Hamptons, Palm Beach, and contemporary luxury interiors.
