Danish Søholm ceramic table lamp from the 1960s with a tall cylindrical body and a narrow, sculptural neck. The lamp is finished in a light beige glaze with contrasting brown decoration consisting of rows of small, overlapping oval motifs around the upper and lower sections. The textured decoration creates a strong graphic pattern against the lighter central area of the body. The glaze shows natural variations in colour and surface typical of Søholm stoneware. The height was measured from the bottom edge to the top of the lamp socket. Søholm Stentøj, also known as Søholm Stoneware, was a Danish ceramics company that was existing from 1835 until 1996 on the island of Bornholm. The company was known for producing high-quality stoneware pottery with distinctive glazes and designs.
