Description
This rare pair of sculptural pendant lights was produced in Sweden in the 1950s.
The design is defined by the striking shape of the opaline glass shade, with its stacked, ridged form and smooth, rounded contours. The gently scalloped profile adds rhythm and texture, while the milky glass ensures a soft, pleasant light distribution. The brass canopy and cylindrical pendant holder perfectly complement the overall design.
Total height (glass shade + brass pendant holder): 42 cm (16.5 in) Diameter of the shade: 16 cm (6.3 in)
Canopy: 7 cm high (2.75 in), 9.5 cm diameter (3.75 in)
Drop-down cable: 42 cm (16.5 in) for the first lamp, 33 cm (13 in) for the second lamp (Drop-down cables can be fully replaced to accommodate other lengths.)
The lamps are in very good original condition. The brass with a natural patina and minor signs of wear consistent with age. -
