Sergio Mazza (born 1931) is an influential Italian architect and designer best known as co-founder of Artemide in 1960 alongside Ernesto Gismondi. Trained in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, Mazza helped define postwar Italian lighting through refined forms, technical rigor, and innovative use of glass and metal. His designs balance sculptural elegance with functional clarity. Iconic models such as Alfa, Delta, and Sigma remain celebrated examples of mid-century Italian modernism worldwide today.
