It all began when Gio Ponti wanted to involve Cesare Casati in his studio in large projects and later in the magazine Domus as director and Enrico Castiglioni who involved him in prestigious international competitions.
In the early sixties Studio D.A. developed projects, installations and design objects recognized as promoters of "made in Italy", always adhering to the experimental language of the POP trend.
At the end of the eighties, with the design of the large international EXPOs and the most important national exhibitions, Matteo Casati became a partner of the studio and together they continued to develop projects always trying to maintain the complex balance between design semantics, utility, poetic meaning, emotion and environment, both in architecture and in design through innovation and digital technologies.
Every day, with innovation and attention, Studio DA favors the values of research and design thanks to a long experience that began in 1960.
Here we have a pair of table lamp mod. Pillola designed in 1968 for Nai. Lacquered metal structure.
