Description
This rare pair of table lamps was produced by TR & Co in Norway in the 1960s. Each lamp is signed "TR&CO" and marked with an "N" (for Norway) on the base.
The design is distinguished by its cone-shaped shades and tubular central stems, both finished in a striking red lacquered metal. The shades feature crown-shaped, undulating brass finials and a brass-colored ring detail at the lower rim. Thanks to the brass gooseneck-style arms, the shades can be adjusted into various positions and angles. The lamps sit on circular brass bases with white push switches.
Both lamps are in very good condition and have been recently rewired with 220V European plugs. The brass has developed a natural, even patina. -
