Description
Chic Art Deco table lamp attributed to Jacques Adnet, France, circa 1940–50, featuring a parchment (parchemin) shade and leather-clad base in deep green with contrasting saddle-stitch red accents reminiscent of Hermès saddlery.
The tapered cylindrical stem and circular plinth are entirely wrapped in smooth leather, finished with fine stitching and brass detailing that underscore Adnet’s refined, luxury-minded approach to modern lighting.
The warm parchment shade casts a soft, atmospheric light, while the bold color pairing and streamlined silhouette make this lamp an ideal accent for a desk, side table, or bedside.
Recently rewired for contemporary use, it is a striking example of French Art Deco lighting that bridges classic equestrian materials with sophisticated modern design
