Alain Carré Model 10367 Table Lamp, Verre Lumière, c. 1970. Pale blue frosted glass in 3 parts. Alain Carré (born 1945) is a French designer renowned for his iconic creations from the 1970s and 1980s. He collaborated with prestigious houses such as Puiforcat, Verre Lumière, and Pierre Cardin. Today, his work is highly sought after by vintage design collectors. Notable examples include the geometric cutlery designed for Puiforcat in the 1970s, which perfectly exemplify his modern, visionary style. Images of this cutlery can be viewed on Puiforcat’s Instagram account. Carré also designed lamps for Verre Lumière, including the model 10367 created in 1983.
The lamp is 3 round separate pieces of glass on metal base holding the bulb. It must be shipped/delivered in 3 separate boxes.
