A beautiful mid century studio pottery table lamp with speckled glaze in white, blue and cream. Europe, mid 20th century.

The body swells gently from a narrow foot into a broad, floating form, finished in a glaze in blue, cream and white. Across the surface, the glaze gathers into a constellation of wonderful patterns that give this table lamp almost a lunar presence.

Overall a wonderful studio pottery table lamp distinguished by its restrained palette, tactile surface, and atmospheric character.

Comes in a very good and original condition. Originally - EU - wired.
