Fantastic late 19th century wooden Black Forest wall mirror in our highly demanded rustic mirror collection. Coming out of Austria around 1880, this unique artfully handcarved frame with protruding corners, impresses with its traditional, so-called "Black Forest" design. This mirror´s frame has been stained in a very dark brown almost black looking tone which enforces the extraordinary looking tree branch carvings. This unusual late 19th century Black Forest mirror is not only very decorative, it also conveys this special "rural" charm. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process and a ring on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
