Description
An elegant Finnish Art Deco wall mirror dating from the 1920s–1930s. The rectangular frame is crafted from beautifully figured flame birch, whose warm colour and lively grain give the piece a distinctive decorative quality.
The restrained frame is crowned by a stepped geometric detail characteristic of the Art Deco period. The bevelled mirror glass adds depth and refinement while catching the light beautifully.
With its clean proportions, warm natural wood and understated decorative details, the mirror would complement a wide variety of interiors, from Art Deco and Scandinavian Modern to contemporary and more eclectic settings. It would make an elegant addition to an entrance hall, bedroom, dressing room or living space.
The mirror is in good vintage condition, with only minimal wear consistent with its age and use. - More Information
