A French 19th century Louis Philippe mirror with an understated, silver gilt frame enhanced by dark oxidation and craquelure texture. Note there are a few cracks and areas of wear which give authentic patina to the design. The original mirror plate is outlined by a beaded or “pearl” trim, spotted with a few areas of foxing in the glass, drawing the viewer in for a closer look.
