Mid-Century Organic Craquelé Terracotta Wall Mirror by Gmundner Keramik, 1950s
-
Description
A charming, organically shaped wall-mounted mirror from the 1950s, crafted by Gmundner Keramik in Austria. The frame is made of ceramic/pottery with a stunning white crackled glaze and a decorative golden line encircling it. Additionally, the glaze features a delightful pale pink hue along the innermost and outermost edges of the mirror frame. The piece is in very good condition.
Please note that the original mirror glass has some slightly "hazy" areas. However, we decided to retain the original glass as we feel these subtle signs of age add character rather than detract from its charm. The mirror is fully functional and, thanks to its versatile size, it can be placed in many settings – whether as a decorative centerpiece or simply as a practical mirror (its intended purpose). The mirror can also be hung directly on the wall without the golden cord. -
