A beautiful Austrian floor lamp with a floral lampshade, from the 1940s — post-war period. Executed by Rupert Nikoll, Vienna, Austria. This elegant lamp is made of walnut, copper, and brass and features an adjustable lampshade, allowing it to be used either upright or angled as a reading lamp. The piece remains in good original condition, showing a charming patina on both the wood and the metal parts. It has been newly rewired, and the lampshade has been professionally restored using a premium Swedish fabric with a beautiful floral pattern in the style of Josef Frank. The original lampshade frame was reused to preserve the authentic proportions. Overall, this is a very attractive and decorative piece of Austrian design. height 61“, diameter 20“.
