Mid-century Italian etched glass and brass wall mirror with scroll decorations, Italy, 1950s. The elongated, subtly tapering rectangular frame with softly rounded corners is embellished with intricate scrolling brass decoration above and below the mirror.

The original mirror plate is decorated with delicate etched floral motifs around its perimeter. Stylized floral designs accent each corner, with additional flower sprays positioned along the sides and a fine decorative border framing the mirrored surface. The warm patinated brass, graceful scrollwork and etched glass combine to give the mirror an elegant and distinctly Italian character.

A charming and highly decorative Italian mirror suitable for an entryway, powder room, bedroom, dressing area or above a console or chest.
