Vereinigte Werkstätten Mid-Century Wall Mirror, Rigitulle Metal & Brass, Germany

$ 720
  • Description
    A lovely decorative wall mirror from the 1950s, crafted by Vereinigte Werkstätten für Kunst im Handwerk, Munich, Germany. The frame is made of perforated Rigitulle sheet metal with a cream-white / off-white finish, accented by a narrow brass border. The mirror is in very good condition. The original mirror glass has been preserved and, consistent with its age, shows some light hazing and one small spot in the silvering, as shown in the photos. We see these as charming signs of its history rather than imperfections. The glass itself is free from cracks or chips and the mirror can be used without any issue. In the style of Mathieu Matégot and Artimeta.
    Measurements: 15" W × 24" H × 1" D. The mirror plate measures 11.5" × 21".
