Description
This set of 3 De Sede DS 218/55 bar stools was manufactured around 2000, based on a design by Italian designer Paolo Piva. The characteristic, cubic shape combines a precisely crafted stainless steel frame with high-quality red nappa leather, giving the stools a striking yet timeless appearance.
The fine nappa leather seats are in very good condition, showing only minimal signs of age and use. The cubic stainless steel frames are also in near-mint condition. The clear geometry and high-quality material selection make the DS 218/55 a particularly expressive example of modern De Sede design.
Paolo Piva is one of the most significant Italian designers and architects of his generation. His designs are often characterized by a combination of strict geometry, functionality, and high-quality materiality. Created with De Sede, the DS 218/55 is an elegant bar stool that can be used in both private interiors and sophisticated hospitality and catering projects.
Since 1965, De Sede has stood for Swiss furniture craftsmanship with a special focus on high-quality leather processing and durable quality. The DS 218/55 embodies this fusion of artisanal precision, premium materials, and timeless design.
This set of 3 is ideal for a kitchen island, a home bar, or a stylish bar and lounge setup. Through the combination of red leather and polished stainless steel, the stools provide a striking accent while blending perfectly with both modern and classic interiors. -
