Dimensions: 37 ⅞” H x 18 ½” W x 18 ½” D

Set of nine French Louis XV style dining chairs (armless side chairs) from the early 20th century. Their curvaceous oak frames outline the upholstered backs and seats carrying the sinuous lines from tip to toe. Note the current fabric of cinnamon-toned twill is very worn, stained and should be replaced to fully enjoy the beautiful proportions of this iconic chair design. A nailhead trim defines the seat from the swells of the chair apron before transitioning into elegant cabriole legs lifted on escargot feet. Seats are 18 ¾” H to the crown.
