Made of beech stained walnut. The wood has been newly restored and is in excellent condition. The wood has a beautiful deep brown color that complements the black leather so well.

Architect Ib Kofod-Larsen (1921-2003) had a successful career in the 1950s and 1960s when Scandinavian Modern design was flourishing across the world, transforming the simple and straightforward into unusually elegant furniture. He had an exceptional understanding of materials and an eye for the potential of the wood and the quality of the raw materials he used.
