Description
Got the blues? Look stunning in this fabulous chair, bench-made in Denmark in the late 1930s. It is like putting on a fabulous outfit! Newly upholstered in a custom stitched cotton twill textile in electric blue by Maki Yamamoto. Get dressed up by sitting down. Solid beech armrests, spring seat & back, horsehair stuffing - only the best stuff.

Artist: Maki Yamamoto is one of New York's most coveted textile artists, she draws with her stitches and has produced works for top designers around the world. Luxury fabric is Maki’s canvas. She skillfully embellishes textiles with painterly motifs and dressmaker details. Precise detailing produces a distinct design. Her artistic repertoire includes freehand painting, modern embroidery, hand-stitching, graphic contemporary appliqué, hand-drawn patterns, pleating, ruffles, fiber ties and twists. So cool! -
