This pair of bamboo armchairs from the mid-century modern French Riviera period is bursting with nostalgia. The soothing design and naturalistic materials will promote tranquillity and Zen in any space, while the distinctly minimal, vintage look will lend the room a curated feel. The pair was made right around 1960—and it almost looks as though it hasn’t been touched since. A light golden bamboo structure, cane seat, and the original printed cushions would feel right at home in a stylish vacation house by the water. The cushions feature a pristine design of a Japonesque building and bridge among flowing leaves, blooming rosy flowers, and tree branches.
