Description
An absolutely exceptional lounge chair from the Italian manufacturer Tecno, originally made for the presidential suite of an exclusive hotel. The chair features a sturdy brown fabric upholstery, used for both the cushions and the seat. The fabric shows minimal signs of wear. The armrests are set within a wide wooden frame, finished with black piano lacquer. The lacquer exhibits some wear, including scratches and small dents. The chair's headrest, supported by solid stainless steel rods, is height-adjustable. Despite its weight, the chair is mounted on internal casters and can be moved with ease.
The Italian furniture manufacturer Tecno was founded in Milan by Osvaldo Borsani and his brother and is known for innovative designs in collaboration with renowned designers. The designer of this armchair is unknown but is attributed to Borsani. -
