Scandinavian Modernism represents a body of work that has had a tremendous impact on the furniture industry. Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian designers and manufacturers placed great importance on material, form, and simplicity. One of Norway’s great exporters, Westnofa (West Norway Factories), shared Scandinavian design with the world.

We love Brazilian Rosewood for both its rarity and its striking appearance. We aim to collect as many examples of modern design featuring rosewood as possible, with the goal of preserving these pieces and passing them on to clients who will cherish them for at least another lifetime. This impressive eight-drawer design by Westnofa exhibits beautifully figured rosewood grain from every angle.

This piece can be used as a dresser, as originally intended, or as a sideboard or credenza. Its generous length offers ample storage and surface space. This dresser is part of a Westnofa rosewood suite that also includes a pair of nightstands, a tall gentleman’s chest, and a queen headboard.
