A very rare and singular cocktail table in the style of Gio Ponti. Tabletop is a one piece Artisan tile handmade signed JGP. The tile is fixed to sculpted stiletto styled steel legs with brass sabot feet with a solid brass sphere joining to the centre. Gio Ponti collaborated with many artisans of his time and it is still uncertain today of all the pieces created under his direction. This particular table is completely unique in every way, exhibiting superior craftsmanship from its arched stiletto legs, to the one of a kind hand painted glazed enameled image of the fish set to a singular large earthen stone ware tile.
