This is an authentic replica of the iconic "Dining Table" designed by the renowned Italian designer Carlo Mollino and originally produced in Turin in 1949. This masterpiece was commissioned by the Italian republic and gifted to the Brooklyn Museum after being exhibited in the museums of 11 other US cities during the "Italy at work" event in 1950. This particular replica is the first piece of an extremely small production run consisting of only 10 exemplars, all of which have been handmade in Italy since 2021 and have been left to season for at least a year to prevent any possible structural deformations due to the natural aging process of the wood.
