French Vintage Farm Table with Zinc Top
-
Description
Dimensions: 28” H x 117” W x 28” D
A vintage farm table from early-to-mid 20th century France, nearly ten feet long to host intimate gatherings of family & friends or everyday meals. The top surface of zinc (a more recent addition) has a smooth texture, finished to rolled edges, and wears an inviting patina from decades of use. Three pairs of muscular square legs support the scale of the table joined by stretchers across the length and width, all painted an attractive shade of burgundy. Distance between the legs is approximately 54” to seat at least eight guests comfortably and up to twelve, if using narrow chairs. The proportions and quality craftsmanship of the table could easily adapt to a retail or business environment as a display fixture, but a potting table for the avid gardener would be an attractive use as well. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paset wax this table is ready to join your interior. Please view the detailed images.
