Description
A pair of marble-top side tables manufactured by John Widicomb attributed to T. H. Robsjohn Gibbings. Black marble cut having enlarged emphasized corners, placed on top of stiletto style legs in a signature style of T. H. Robsjohn Gibbings, supporting a shelf. In Very Good original condition.
T.H. Robsjohn Gibbings designed for John Widdicomb from 1943-1956. Gibbings designs were not put into production under his name until 1946 and several designs were produced after 1956 up until 1959 under John Widdicomb Label. The badge on both tables is the badge used from 1956-1959 for specific pieces produced by John Widdicomb. -
