An elegant 19th-century Lombardy table, finely veneered in walnut and various precious woods, exemplifying the artistry and craftsmanship of northern Italy. The rectangular top is richly decorated with a delicate floral marquetry design, executed in contrasting woods that create depth and refinement. The apron is clean and understated, allowing the decorative surface to remain the focal point. The table is supported by bold torchon-turned uprights that rest on curled, scrolled feet, united by a matching cross stretcher for both stability and visual harmony. This combination of decorative detail and architectural strength reflects the sophistication of Lombard furniture-making during the 19th century.
