Description
A round coffee/cocktail table with a Soleil Marquetry in Makassar Ebony Wood with a geometric Nickel base.
Louis Sognot was a French designer and architect who was active during the Art Deco period. During his career, He worked on a wide range of projects, including furniture design, interior design and architecture. Sognot is perhaps best known for his furniture designs, which often featured bold, geometric shapes and were crafted from high-quality materials such as exotic woods and metal. He redesigned the famous Lutetia Hotel in Paris. Sognot was an important figure in the world of French Art Deco, and his contributions to the movement continue to be celebrated and appreciated today. -
