Description
Paolo Buffa (Milan 1903-1970), architect and designer, worked in the field of furniture design. Trained in the studio of Ponti and Lancia, from where he borrowed elements of neoclassical inspiration, in 1928, Buffa opened his own studio with Cassi Ramelli.
In 1930 together they participated in the 4th International Exhibition of Decorative Arts (future Triennale), with a project for a "modern villa".
Participation in the Triennials continues in 1933, this time individually, with a design for a studio corner for the "furniture exhibition"; he then appears among the signatories for the fitting out of the rooms of ENAPI (Ente Nazionale Artigianato e Piccole Industrie).
Considered one of the most influential interior designers in the Milan area, from the 1950s he became the trusted architect of engineer Carlo Pesenti.
Here we have a beautiful dining table, wooden structure with brass details, designed by Paolo Buffa in 1939 and produced by Marelli & Colico.
In very good condition, fully original and ready to be shipped. -
