Description
Beautiful and unique brutalist coffee table by Belgian collective Pia Manu made in the early 1970s. Solid black lacquered structure and feet are framing a bronze patinated sculpture made of ceramic, that looks like a post modern abstract painting. The table is not signed but the quality of this work and style only points to the famous Pia Manu atelier. Pia Manu is a workshop from Ingelmunster, Belgium. Jules Dewaele and his son Koen Dewaele designed several design pieces during the 1960s and 1970s. This unique table is found in a great vintage condition.
