Description
This striking coffee table is the model T02M designed by Pierre Chapo in 1963. This iconic table is made of solid elm wood with a beautiful grain. Up to 1973 the T02 model was the only round table in the Chapo catalog. An unquestionably timeless and sophisticated piece. This table is newly produced by Chapo Creation, now run by Pierre Chapo's grandson. Based in Southern France, this artisanal company produces the official reissues of Chapo's designs. All pieces are hand made, using the same materials and techniques as the earlier productions (types of elm wood as the earlier productions). Each piece is stamped.
The table can easily be converted into a dining table as the legs can be unscrewed from the top and replaced by higher legs. Please note the higher legs are not included in the price but are available as an option at an additional fee. Each table is completely unique, so please note that the exact wood grain of the table top and legs may differ from the table pictured. Please contact us for pictures of the exact tables in stock. -
