Description
An Art Deco Luxury Yacht designed as a Brooch c.1930. Figural Jewelry is possibly the rarest type, with most designers preferring the safer naturalist approach such as flowers & leaves. But some, often privately commissioned, made industrial design jewelry, such as Airplanes, Automobiles, Ocean Liners, and Skyscrapers. The Yacht is platinum set with diamonds, sitting on the sea of channel set cabochon sapphires. Small and precious, subtle yet impressive, this small brooch of a beautiful luxury yacht would be suitable for a gentleman or a lady, resting on the lapel of a jacket, conveying an understated elegance without words.
