Description
Massive Verner Panton 8DM Fun Chandelier. This is not a current production piece or a reissue this is a very rare original Verner Panton designed chandelier for J. Luber of Switzerland. This piece was acquired from the original owner who had imported all of the contents of her home from Europe in the 1960s. Very few of these early examples are known to exist. The unique qualities of the translucent mother-of-pearl shells and the repetition of small links of chain produce a shape that captures the glow of light emanating from within which gives it the appearance of hovering in space.
