Standing lamp with telescoping height and tripod base, model number 22597, by Josef Frank (1885-1967) for Svenskt Tenn, Stockholm, executed in enameled metal and brass. Sweden, mid-20th century. Maker stamp. Chic, lyrical and Modern, this wonderful standing lamp design by Frank epitomizes the ebullient "Swedish Modern" style of the 1930s-40s. Telescoping tubes allow height to adjust between 44.5 in. (113 cm) 58.5 in.(149 cm) H,. Each leg extends 11 in, (28 cm) from the cstand.
