Elegant and rare circa 1825 English Regency George IV period solid patinated bronze chandelier in neoclassical 'Grecian' style having molded ceiling canopy issuing twist-stem standard joining gadrooned lambs tongue 'collar' connecting chains to stop-fluted circular dish-form body with bearded deity heads and top rams head 'chalice'; the three arms with molded deity faces below three bellflower socket cups. Originally an Argand or colza oil burning fixture, it was electrified in the early 20th-century.
