Excellent Rosewood Roll Top Desk by Edward Wormley for Dunbar Mid-Century Modern
-
Description
Classic roll top desk by Edward Wormley for Dunbar with leather footrest. This stately executive desk is beautifully constructed of rosewood and mahogany. With two sliding roll-tops, a hinged panel which drops down to form continuous work surface for use as a partner’s desk, three lower drawers, and a small detached two-drawer unit. They just don't make pieces like this anymore!
This fine piece is in very nice vintage condition. The top shows only some light wear towards the front. Rosewood is a dark rich color-gorgeous. The tamboured doors are a bit tight but do roll smoothly. Some light scuffs to legs. -
