Description
Dimensions: 35-¼”H x 41-½”W x 22-¼”D
This striking commode was made in the 1900’s with newer technology that allowed for such an impressive display of marquetry. The drawer fronts are curved and follow the bombay shape with ring brass pulls. You’ll find impressive casts of ormulo on the legs at the top and the base of the feet. Please see the detailed images to see the veneer condition which is in great shape for its age. The top is more recent, possibly a replacement to a once marble top. It’s ebony and made to fit the curves of this wonderful commode. The commode makes such a statement and can be used in any room of the house! -
