Description
Dimensions: 29 ¾” H x 95” W x 58 ½” D
An incredible English drop-leaf dining table with a set of 8 carved-back chairs. This set was made from solid mahogany in the 19th Century, and it perfectly embodies the Chippendale style. An oval-shaped tabletop is in good condition with minimal signs of wear and 2 drop leaves that allow for versatile use of this table. Dramatic cabriole legs support the surface and are beautifully carved with claw and ball feel. Each of the chairs has been newly reupholstered. Their backs feature stunning scrolled details that feel at once playful and elegant, and two of the seats are enclosed by gently curved arms. Cabriole legs on the fronts of the chairs match those of the table, and their flared feet add a visual bounciness to their sturdy forms. With its classic design and fine craftsmanship, this set would make a wonderful addition to any dining space. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe these to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions.
