Description
Dimensions: 30 ½” H x 68” W x 32 ¾” D
An incredible 19th-century French draw leaf table crafted in the Louis XV style. Made from fruitwood, this dining table showcases exquisite craftsmanship. The top is made up of several panels with their woodgrains arranged perpendicularly. The offset corners are rounded, and the tabletop is carved with an ogee edge all around. Two oak leaves slide out from the short edges to provide an additional 37 inches of length to this already sizable table. Deeply carved channels and floral motifs adorn the scalloped apron above thick cabriole legs featuring stylized acanthus leaf carvings and scrolled feet. All throughout, we can see the square wooden pegs used to secure the joints of the table, which serve as testaments to the skills of the craftsmen who made it. With its timeless and elegant design, this table is the perfect option for anchoring a dining space. Recently refinished and ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions.
