Description
‘The Goal’, Ukrainian contemporary kinetic sculpture by Yaryna Leshnevska
Ukrainian, 2023
Sculpture: Height 21cm, width 13cm, depth 13cm
Box: Height 31cm, width 21.5cm, depth 21.5
Bringing together multiple luxurious materials, this intriguing sculpture by a Ukranian artist Yaryna Leshnevska for SUPERNATURAL is designed to inspire the user to chase their dreams.
A stack of raw pyrite crystal stands at the centre of the sculpture, with the unique nature of this crystal representing the owner’s individuality. The surrounding brass constellations of Major Ursa, Orion, and Virgo symbolise the owner’s dreams and possibilities, with dainty ruby and sapphire detailing adding a touch of sparkle to the composition.
The pyrite and brass elements sit atop a vibrantly blue lapis lazuli piece, which features several engraved silver gilt elements. A central clock is designed to remind the owner to use their time effectively, with its 360-degree frame encouraging strategic thinking and planning. Edward de Bono’s ‘Why-questions’ concept is engraved on the outer edges of the base, aiding in prioritising one’s tasks.
The entire piece is surmounted by a delicate pyramid of Citrine quartz, representing concentration and the unseen forces that guide us on our way. A fitted case comes with the piece.
With its high-quality craftsmanship, this kinetic sculpture is guaranteed to be an attention-grabbing feature of one’s decorative scheme.
