Swedish Modern Markslöjd Table Lamp in Beech, Brass, Linen, Sweden, 1970s

Description
This striking table lamp was produced by Markslöjd in Kinna, Sweden in the 1970s. The design is marked by the sculptural, organic shaped frame resting on a circular base. The base is made of solid stained beech wood. Brass and beech wood fitting. The piece is marked with the Markslöjd label and model number on the bottom of the base.The coolie shaped shade has been renewed in an ivory white linen textured fabric. The shade can be adjusted into different positions. A striking example of Scandinavian Modern lighting. The lamp is in very good condition, with a renewed shade. Currently with a 220V European plug.
