Description
A fine and elegant circa 1835 English late regency William IV period armchair or bergere of large scale and clean design having solid rosewood frame and buff-colored leather upholstery with rectangular tufted back and loose seat cushion either side of sloping arms with padded armrests and angled plain arm terminals connected to flat seatrail and corner blocks issuing turned and carved tapering front legs on original brass casters and deeply splayed rear.
