Description
This elegant and beautifully formed set of three Art Deco Skyscraper Style Alabaster Sconces originates from France during the 20th Century. They feature shades formed in solid carved alabaster with a curved lower section leading to three stepped tiers of skyscraper style detailing. The skyscraper detailing beautifully curves along the top edge of the sconces providing an excellent balance between rectilinear and rounded forms in the piece with elegant simplicity. The natural veining of the alabaster is subtle in contrast while remaining full of detail that rewards the eye for longer viewing and appreciation. A stunning set, these sconces will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, this set is in Excellent Vintage Condition.
