Description
It's almost like having an exquisite set of jewels hanging on the wall. That is what this set of six wall lamps radiate. They are made from Murano glass and therefore have a distinctive appearance that is so characteristic of Italian hand-blown glassware. With the light sources off, this set is a pleasure to look at.
Design
Thick glass of up to one centimeter is decorated with a relief of curved lines that end at a surface that resembles a pressed rectangle. Because the rectangle moves away from the center, movement is created. In addition, jagged parts of the glass alternate with smooth parts and small air bubbles are trapped in the glass.Three lamps are amber coloured and three are produced in apple green. The amount of color is not the same in any lamp, making the whole a combination of alternating elements that radiates an organic feel to it. Square fixtures are each equipped with two lamp holders for light sources with an E27 fitting. After the lamps have been placed on the fixture, they can be secured with four screws. They can therefore also be used as ceiling lights.
Condition
The lamps are in pristine condition. Over the years, the fixtures have color differences here and there and a small rust spot can be seen. -
