Description
Bergboms - also called Bergbom & Co AB - was a modernist Swedish lighting manufacturer established in 1940. Active in the postwar period, Bergboms produced a variety of sleek, often directional modernist lighting for the Swedish market, with a range similar to contemporaneous Swedish brand ASEA.
This elegant lamp showcases the Scandinavian design ethos with its clean lines, understated sophistication, and meticulous attention to detail. This lamp’s design is simple, yet radiates quality and style. The body is made entirely of brass, reflecting light beautifully, and giving the lamp a subtle, golden glow that can add a touch of luxury to any space. The design of the 'B010' is both minimalist and functional, with a unique cylindrical shape, giving a clean impression to the whole model. The shade is made of a light fabric in a neutral tone, allowing the light to diffuse gently and casting a warm, inviting ambiance. The overall design is refined - perfect for modern or classic interiors. Thanks to the designer’s masterful sense of proportion, this model is perfectly balanced. Apart from the aesthetics, the quality of this table lamp is also true to its Scandinavian heritage. Adding illumination to a living space with this stylish table lamp will not only improve the ambience, it will also provide useful task lighting for those late nights.
This lamp is a true testament to Bergboms' commitment to quality and style. The company's designs often featured clean lines, high-quality materials, and an emphasis on both form and function, making them highly sought after - during the mid-20th century, until today.
