Description
This elegant pair of table lamps was produced by Eskilstuna Armaturer Elektrofabrik in Sweden in the 1960s. The lamps are signed with the manufacturers initials EAE and the model number on the bottom of the base.
The design is composed of a slightly raised, circular foot in textured, engraved glass, giving the lamps a refined appearance. The central tubular stem is made of brass which has been covered with a cognac leather band throughout. The renewed, tapered drum shades are custom made in an ivory linen textured fabric, which gives the lamps a very pleasant light distribution once switched on.
The pair is in very good original condition. Currently wired with a 220V European plug. The lamps both have white cords but slightly different light switches. -
