Description
A wonderful Viennese Modernism table or desk lamp form the 1930s, designed by Josef Frank for Haus & Garten (Josef Frank und Oskar Wlach) in 1934. The model is called „ Tisch Überall“ and has the no. 1092. Manufactured by J.T. Kalmar in Vienna, Austria. This rare light is handmade of brass, it has an adjustable flexible swan neck arm and a stem/handle, which is covered with dark-brown leather. The lamp comes with a renewed lampshade using the identical measurements like the original. It is covered with authentic Svenskt Tenn fabric with the lovely and colorful pattern „green bird“ (Grüner Vogel), which is also designed by Josef Frank. For the collectors we will also add the old lampshade, made of parchment paper. The light is rewired and in very good condition with marginal patina. This light is an outstanding sample of Vienna Modernism design.
